Class Schedule and Description

 

Power Flow Yoga

 

This dynamic and gentle power class that moves fluidly through the yoga posture sequence that is based on The Sun Salutations of Yoga. The student will be encouraged to coordinate movement with breath. 75 - 90 minutes

Intro to Power Yoga -- Namrata Prakash

 

Join Namrata on this journey into Power Yoga. Revitalize your body and mind with Baptiste style Power Vinyasa yoga. This beginner session focuses on the fundamentals of Power Yoga highlighting the breathing techniques. Through the detoxifying sweat watch your flexibility and strength increase with each practice.   75 minutes

In this class, you will explore:  Asanas (yoga postures), Ujjai breath (energy/ breathwork), Bandas (energy locks/ centers), Drishti (focus/ gaze)

Classical Yoga -- Dawn

 

Yoga means Union. The goal of Yoga is a certain harmony with oneself and awareness of  and control over internal processes. There are many benefits to yoga, including overall better health, detoxification, relief from pain and stress, emotional/ mental well being, weight loss, increased strength, confidence and balance and more. The class is slow paced and meditative, incorporating Hatha Yoga(postures and breathing practices that prepare the body/mind for meditation), and Jnana Yoga(contemplation).All body types and levels of experience will be welcome and engaged in this class. One should come with an empty stomach, wearing comfortable clothing. Bring a mat if you have one.

Wednesday:   5:00 - 6:30 pm

 

30 Minute Core Express 

 

Not a yoga class, but you will get a great abdominal and core workout!
